Do you know that you will always receive from the level of your faith? Here are the three steps I took to elevate my faith game.

Lately I have been thinking about how important it is for one to believe in themselves and the power of their dreams. Often times we short-change and write ourselves off either because we do not look the part or don’t have enough resources to help us attain what we truly want. Truth is most times we are rarely ever fully qualified for what we truly want or even fully equipped for it from a resource’s perspective. It seems there is always a part within or around us holding us back from truly experiencing the vast possibilities within our reach and its usually during this time that one quits, compromises or perseveres. In essence we are always at a tug of war with our dreams and what we really truly want, and I am realising that what draws us in alignment with what we really want is our level of faith. You will always receive from the level of your faith in yourself and God.

I strongly believe that God will never put a desire or dream in your heart that’s unattainable for you. The fact that something resonates so deeply inside you means its attainable for you. It is however what we do with that desire or dream that will determine if we get the end results.

Are you ready to elevate your self confidence and faith in God , here are the 3 simple things you can do right now to get you there . All you need is an open mind and a plan. Ready to get started?

  1. Invest in yourself

Sailing out into uncharted territories always requires you to adopt a new frame of mind. Simply having a great idea is not always enough, but knowing how to execute that idea will help you along the way. When I started writing my first book I never invested so much into the venture, till later on, when I realised that I had to plug myself into the right circles to get the results I wanted. Great things come at a price, and you rarely ever get great results unless you give your work a certain level of commitment. Though I had great plans, commitment to them and a foundation, what I lacked was the knowledge, personal accountability, support system/network and strategies on how to actually implement everything successfully. The level of success you require for your venture will always determine how hard you need to go with your personal investment. After being tired from my own procrastination and lack of accountability, I decided to invest in a mentor and personal development programme. As costly as it was, it connected me to a vast network of amazing women building different platforms, increased my personal accountability level, elevated the boss girl in me and most importantly raised the vibration levels for my self-belief. I now know that I am built for whatever idea life throws my way. Investing in myself comes naturally to me now and I have stopped complaining about the cost, provided that it leads me to my end goal. There is no point investing in something that won’t add to what you are trying to build. So go on girl, invest in yourself.

2. Be your own cheerleader

I really and truly can’t stress enough the importance of being your own cheerleader in life. One of the most important lessons I have learned on my journey is to be my own cheerleader. I used to wait on people to cheer me up till the day I realised that everyone else is also working on their own things in life and likewise their growth will always take first priority. Similarly waiting on people’s approval can also open doors to disappointment especially if you don’t get the response you were anticipating for. I had to get comfortable with the idea of cheering, affirming, gassing myself up and believing in the power of my own magic which in return elevated my self-belief levels. I have now mastered the art of cheering myself up and no longer need people to approve my ideas, instead I Own whatever it is that I am working on and because of my self-belief others follow suit. Believe in yourself and your ability to achieve whatever you desire. You are your greatest cheerleader and if you don’t believe in your own magic then how else will you convince others to bask in your magic?

3. Attach faith to your prayers always and make a move

Rarely do I embark on something without attaching prayer and faith to it.  I go to God with my requests no matter how silly they might look to the world, full of expectation that he will help me with whatever I need. It is vitally important to believe in what you’re asking for. You must attach faith to your prayers and be able to expect a shake-up whenever you ask God for something. You will always receive from the level of your faith, if you believe he can do it for you then he will! This is also not to say everything happens the way I want.  Sometimes the answer doesn’t come the way I want, but I am always redirected to what I need for that particular season.  Do understand though that prayer without action does not produce results. You must be prepared to actively put in work for whatever you are asking of God. Pray and then make a move no matter how small it might be. The move could be something simple as investing in yourself, cheering yourself up, writing down a vision etc, every move that you put in God’s hands no matter how small will always flourish and open better doors. The more you practice this the more your faith in God and you will grow.
